In the picture above, your one year old has her two fingers in her mouth, does she suck them? I'm only asking because Parker went from his left thumb to his two fingers a few weeks ago too. Only difference is he puts them in "upside down" with his palm facing up. So silly!
I am an "older" mom- having kids that are way past baby age... and sometimes it's very frustrating thinking you're not making any impressions in the way you intend... but they do notice, and repeat what you do. The biggest lessons, of course, happen when you're not specifically teaching. - just like they say - monkey see, monkey do. :)
I'm so pleased you've decided to become a "Weekly Featured Blogger" on our forum!!!!! Looking forward to working with you and getting you know you better.
Kirstin
So glad to see that you've posted on your blog!!! Are you interested in doing it on a weekly basis (you can pick the day)? You can write weekly about a small thing you've found or done - anything! Let me know if you're interested.
And yes, send a comment to Sommer - I'm sure she'd love to hear how you appreciate what she's doing.
Great having you here!
Kirstin

We're looking for weekly contributors to post once per week and be featured on our main page. If you'd like to do this please let me know. This is something you can add to your resume or even link back to for writing and social networking experience. A great way to gain exposure. I
f you have any questions about our community or would like to offer some suggestions, please let us know.
I'm sure you'll be able to learn a lot from everyone here about "green" and healthy alternatives. You can also take a look at Sommer's web site where she did a post recently on cloth diapers and I did one on biodegradable disposable ones on my blog. You can link to us after our names below.
Have a healthy and green day,
