I am happy to say that I am almost done with my upcoming book featuring BUSY MOMS WHO ARE GOING GREEN! Please consider submitting your story to be included (or invite another amazing friend you may know) if you are interested in sharing your personal story of struggle, triumph and challenge that would serve as an inspiration to other women in living a "greener" more sustainable life while raising children. If so, please consider taking the time to respond to the questions below:

What challenges/obstacles do you/have you faced trying to raise your family in a more sustainable way? How did you overcome them? If still present in your life, how to you continue to deal with them? What gives you hope? What message would you want to convey to other women facing similar circumstances?

In particular I am seeking stories of women who have overcome health related challenges with themselves/their children, those struggling with feeding their families healthy food, single parenthood and financial challenges of living a sustainable life, those living in toxic environments, those overcoming chemical addicitions, those who have become a role model in their community (developed programs to empower other women, started their own "green" companies, magazines, recycling programs, etc.).... Welcome to Green and Clean Mom. We're so glad you've joined! Please be sure to check out the forum (which I see you have), add some new friends like Sommer (the founder of G&CM) and me! Start a discussion, ask questions and post pictures, videos or blog posts. Yes, here at G&CM you have your own blog! You have your own space to create, share and make yours. We're looking for weekly contributors to post once per week and be featured on our main page. If you'd like to do this please let me know. This is something you can add to your resume or even link back to for writing and social networking experience. A great way to gain exposure.
