I have signed up with them too. Every time I had to throw a juice pouch out I always thought there has to be something to do with these and well, you know the story. Did you see the juice pouch dress? I LOVE that I can choose my charity to benefit...

For coloring i use skin quality henna that i get from thehennapage.com, it's fantastic! For conventional color an Aveda salon is your best bet. They still have some chemicals (all conventional color does), but they use the least possible amount.
Good luck,
Barbara

I haven't worked with businesses yet mostly because I am working full time during the week for an Insurance Brokerage Firm. So I am looking to be a part time consultant to start. For my 5 year plan I would like to be working with Green Irene full-time and focus on greening offices. I have contacted a local real estate agent who I am still waiting to respond back. I thought it would be a good idea to green homes before selling them with the hope of increasing their value.

It's great to hear from someone from PA! I started consulting with Green Irene in Feb after having a Go Green party. I haven't been busy, it's hard trying to find people willing to spend money. I am planning on doing some fairs this summer so that will help get the word out. I believe there are a couple other consultants out your way, close to Pittsburgh. Have you had a party or a Green Home Makeover done?

Water, Water, Everywhere!

I am so glad to be a featured member! Thank you Kristen & Sommer!

My family & I are in the midst of packing for a MUCH needed Bahamas Vacation! I LOVE the beach and the water and anything associated with it! I, unfortunately, do not have the pleasure of living by the beach right now, but my plan is to someday move where I can enjoy the beating sounds of the waves each day as I eat breakfast, go to sleep and sit outside!

I would have to say that WATER is definitely my elem… Continue

Lady Bug, Lady Bug . . .

There's no doubt if you are adopting from China you know the significance of LADYBUGS! I remember trying to find everything there was with a ladybug and when I saw the ladybug on my ceiling when it was close to referral time (in the adoption community, if you see a ladybug when it is close to referral time, it means you should get your referral very soon), I was jumping for joy! I even took a photo of it!

There's also no doubt that you want to put the best natural bath and body products on your… Continue

Environmental Disease

One factor to consider during your adoption process is the fact that children adopted from abroad are more at risk to contract an environmental disease. I'm not posting about this to scare you, but more importantly to raise awareness about the fact that it does, in deed, exist.

When we were in China, I remember coming back to the hotel and blowing our noses. As disgusting as it sounds - it was BLACK. Air quality in China is somewhat poor, but they are starting to take drastic measures to clean… Continue
