Relationship Status:: Married

About Me:: I’m a former 5th grade Special Education teacher of fifteen years and new mother. I’ve been a vegetarian for many years and always considered myself a “green girl” but when I became pregnant in early 2007, I discovered a whole new area of health concerns that I didn’t know about - plastics, personal care products and more.

I pour over research to learn as much as possible so I can help my daughter and family to be as safe from these dangers as possible and pass this information along to others on my blog.

What does it mean to be a green and clean mom to you?: Continuing to learn more about how to have a more chemical-free home and body through research and discussions with all of you.

How many children and what are their ages?: I have one daughter who was born in December of 2007.

What green issues do you hope to learn about through this forum?: I'd like to learn as much as possible about less toxic products and how to continue to live a "greener" life.

I think I would have many items of interest to your subscribers - I am one of the very first Green Designated agents with the National Assoc. of Realtors, an "e-PRO" (internet advertising and use from the NAR also), co-owner of a construction company AND a certified Master Gardener!
