Actually another mom turned me onto Gum-omile-oil and Colin has really responded well to that. Its funny I thought the front teeth were bad! Then he got molars and that was horrible, now hes getting canines and it is even WORSE. I can't wait for t...

Sometimes Dental insurance companies can give advice on teething. There may also be a support group that meets at several at the Indianapolis hospitals. They talk about infant issues for new moms.
Over the weekend I had my parents & their friends over to say goodbye to our host child from Ireland (she 13, readily embraced our efforts to live a less toxic life, and went home with my copy of The Hundred Year Lie) The "friend" of my parents ma...
Psych? My undergrad is psych. :) I wonder if I should have gone into Cog or something similar. So many possibilities and directions to go. But then again, I'm wondering if I should have gone into a number of other fields! ;) There are just too many options out there. I'm happiest being a mommy, though!!! And very happy that my research/psych/social work background helps me be a better one. ;)

He's adorable! It's so great to be a mom to a boy, I'm one too. My son is almost 6 months and even though I admit I was a little disappointed when I found out I wasn't having a girl, I truly love having a boy. It's weird but it's kind of like a love affair with him. Congratulations!
By the way, thanks for all your comments! They're greatly appreciated!
I have looked into the Cosmetics Database. Sunscreens are the latest thing I've been looking into. It's a great site. Something I've been wanting to do with it is look into the basics (soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.) with low scores that you can easily find in your local CVS, Duane Reade, etc. It will take some time so I'll need to post it for others to benefit from. I'm trying to start up a blog for the first time, now that my daughter has somewhat reliable nap times and I can have the time to do so. This would be a good posting to start with.
Thanks again and looking forward to exchanging info with you!
I just read your blog and wanted you to know that I enjoyed doing so. I'm a new mom and started doing a lot of research on BPA, phthalates, etc, once I became pregnant (wish I had known about it even before this). There's so much to learn and be aware of. I'm sure you've found many useful websites. Let me know if you'd like a list of mine. I'm always interested in new ones as well, so pass along any you may have if you have the time. Take care of yourself during these last few days before you give birth.
Welcome to Green and Clean Mom! We're so glad to have you. Hope you're feeling well. I wish I would have more more eco aware when I was haing my first. Good for you.
